Polly Graham
|
Polly started her career on the Daily Express after winning a coveted place on the paper's graduate trainee scheme. She then joined the Daily Mail as a news reporter before defecting to the Daily Mirror as a feature writer. Her showbiz reporting career began when she became deputy column editor of the Mirror's Matthew Wright showbiz column. Polly then headed the Mirror's revolutionary 3am column, ensuring the hard-nosed trio with their mischievous gossip were the talk of the town. Polly then moved from 3am to become Showbusiness Editor and Columnist of the Sunday Mirror, before taking up her position as Assistant Editor Showbusiness and Columnist at News of the World. She became News of the World film critic in 2005 with her column 'Pollywood'. Polly has broken some of the biggest showbiz stories of recent years - all of which have been followed up all over the world.
But probably the crowning moment of Polly’s career was when Esquire magazine voted her the 15th most eligible woman in Britain in 2000. Polly regularly appears as a showbiz pundit on GMTV (ITV), This Morning (ITV), The Wright Stuff (C5) and Richard and Judy (C4). 1994
